Park City Mountain: Mountain Village and Canyons Village Are Different Arrivals
Park City Mountain has more than one major base, and an arrival plan that names only the resort can send you to the wrong one. Read Mountain Village and Canyons Village as distinct destinations, then match the actual booking with parking, transit and the final meeting point.

Use the complete base name and address
The resort’s transport page publishes different addresses for Mountain Village and Canyons Village. Copy the one relevant to the activity from its confirmation rather than selecting the first Park City Mountain result in a map app. A rental, lesson or meeting arranged at one base does not automatically move to the other because both belong to the resort. Put the exact base name in messages shared with companions and drivers. This is particularly useful when group members book independently and assume that meeting at the mountain is a sufficiently precise instruction. It is not precise enough to identify one entrance.
Read the applicable parking system rather than a memory
The operator’s current transport page separates parking information by village and includes changes to facilities and reservation arrangements. That is a reason to read the relevant tab for the travel date rather than rely on a friend’s previous-season experience. Ask which lot or structure the booking covers, whether a reservation is required and what the product’s arrival conditions are. A room booking nearby is not evidence of a parking entitlement at the lift base. Keep any confirmation with the actual vehicle and date details. Do not transfer a rule from one village’s parking section to the other without checking.
Use transit by destination, not just route number
The resort identifies public transport and park-and-ride options, some serving one or both base areas. Start with where the chosen service actually stops and how it connects with your required entrance. A route number from an old screenshot may no longer answer that question. If using a park-and-ride, check its own parking and overnight conditions independently from the bus service. Include the return to the vehicle after the activity, particularly if the group finishes at a different base from where it began. A connected ski area does not require your road pickup and stored belongings to follow you automatically.
Keep a base change deliberate
If staff or an activity provider changes the meeting location, update all linked pieces: driver destination, parking reservation, transit stop and equipment collection. Avoid solving the mismatch by improvising an on-snow transfer that has not been assessed for the group. A simple base-area meeting can be reset more easily before arrival than once companions and bags are distributed between two villages. Make the final departure base explicit as well. The useful trip record contains one confirmed arrival base and one confirmed departure base, with any difference explained. This turns a large resort name into a workable plan rather than an ambiguous pin.
Illustrative split booking
Two friends discover that one activity confirmation names Mountain Village while another names Canyons Village. They contact the providers before traveling, then align the intended meeting and transport. Their shared note contains the full base name and correct address. The scenario does not assume a universal parking fee, reservation rule or convenient ski transfer between the bookings.

Questions that come up
Is a Park City Mountain map pin specific enough for a driver?
It may not be. The resort identifies Mountain Village and Canyons Village separately. Use the exact base and address required by the booking.
Does one village’s parking rule apply at the other?
Do not assume that. The operator publishes village-specific arrangements and updates. Read the section for the actual base, date and parking product.
